BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Softball team opened play at the Texas A&M Invitational on Friday, February 27 with a statement, earning a 6-1 win over Saint Mary’s before knocking off No. 15 Texas A&M, 10-8, in front of 2,622 fans at Davis Diamond in Bryan-College Station, Texas.
The Ragin’ Cajuns (13-6) extended their winning streak to three games – remaining perfect on the current week – and collected their second victory over a ranked foe in February (Feb. 15 vs. Ole Miss).
