Duson shots fired call results in Lafayette man arrested on drug & gun charges

DUSON, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette man was arrested at a hotel near Duson on multiple drug and gun charges.

Dylan Cross, 28, of Lafayette, was is charged with possession of marijuana, seven counts of possession with intent to distribute amphetamine, four counts of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute Vyvanse, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, possession of a stolen firearm, and two counts of illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. He was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.

Authorities reported deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with officers with the Duson Police Department responded to a shots fired call near Daulat Drive…
