CHURCH POINT, La. (NEWS 15) — A child is hospitalized with a head injury after falling off a side-by-side vehicle being driven by a teen on a city street and the driver’s parent was cited, according to the Church Point Police Department.
Authorities reported it happened on Marie Street in Church Point on Saturday, March 7. They said the side-by-side was no longer at the scene when officers arrived.
They explained that the injured child was taken to a Lafayette hospital and later transferred to Baton Rouge for further treatment. The child’s condition is unknown…
