Funeral services have been scheduled for a Youngsville woman and a 6-year-old boy as the Acadiana community mourns and organizes support for their surviving loved ones.
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, Brett Richardson shot and killed his wife, Kasie Luquette Richardson and his 6-year-old son, Jasper, before turning the gun on himself Sunday.
Kasie Richardson, remembered by loved ones as “a wildflower in a world of chaos,” will be honored during funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vincent Funeral Home.
