LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) has launched a Drainage Community Engagement Series to involve residents in discussions about local drainage initiatives and flood mitigation efforts. The first meeting was held at South Regional Library on Wednesday, March 18.
The series will provide opportunities for residents to learn about ongoing projects and offer input on the parish’s long-term Stormwater Plan. Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet emphasized the importance of these meetings for guiding future drainage improvements.
