Iberia Parish Courthouse escapee Jada Landry captured after 2 months on the run

IBERIA PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — The woman who escaped custody at the Iberia Parish Courthouse in New Iberia in January has been captured.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Jada Landry, 27, was captured on Friday, March 20, around 9 a.m.

Deputies said Landry faces charges of aggravated escape, resisting an officer with force or violence, and theft valued at less than $1,000. She has been rebooked into the Iberia Parish Jail. Bond has not been set…
