MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — An 18-year-old student from Opelousas was arrested Friday morning for allegedly making multiple bomb threats to Northwest High School in St. Landry Parish. Lyam Garcia faces 10 felony charges following a series of threats that prompted large-scale emergency responses over a two-month period.

The arrest follows five separate threats made against the school. Garcia is charged with five counts of terrorizing and five counts of communicating false information about planned bombings…
