A New Iberia woman was killed early Saturday when she was struck by a pickup truck while walking on a frontage road in Iberia Parish, Louisiana State Police report.
Katlin Khayankane, 24, was walking in an unknown direction in the westbound lane of U.S. 90 Frontage Road near Grand Prairie Road about 5 a.m., according to an LSP news release. A westbound 2014 Ford F-150 struck Khayankane, who was wearing in dark clothing.
Khayankane was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford reported no injuries, and impairment is not suspected to be a factor in this crash…
