ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY) — After two individuals were arrested in less than a month following a series of school threats, officials are issuing severe felony consequences for these actions.
Major Mark LeBlanc said the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is working closely with the school board to increase security on school technology, as most threats are currently being made online. The arrests involve Kayla Rose Hooks and Lyam Garcia, who both face charges related to bomb threats and terrorizing.
