SUNSET, La. (NEWS 15) — A Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest of a Sunset teenager already under house arrest after detectives found a modified gun and drugs at a home, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Khrystian Kimble, 17, of Sunset, is charged with possession of a machine gun, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer. He also had outstanding warrants from Lafayette Parish for nine counts of simple burglary of a vehicle and six counts of other attempted crimes.
Sheriff Bobby Guidroz reported narcotics detectives received a Crime Stoppers tip about gunfire at night and drug trafficking at Kimble’s home on Mills Road in Sunset. He said the investigation led to a search warrant being issued…
