Lafayette Consolidated Government’s (LCG) Parks, Recreation, & Culture (PARC) Department announced the official reopening of Picard Park, a newly reimagined community space designed to bring residents together through active recreation and shared experiences.
Following a nearly year-long construction period, Picard Park, at 130 Park Lane, offers a range of new amenities that expand residents’ options for gathering, playing, and connecting, according to LCG.
The project includes the design and construction of multiple new features, including:
- Four pickleball courts
- Updated restroom facilities
- A shaded picnic area
- ADA-accessible parking
- A concession stand
