Crowley alderman jailed for contempt

CROWLEY, La. (NEWS 15) — A Crowley alderman is behind bars at the Acadia Parish Jail.

Vernon “Step” Martin, 68, of Crowley, was jailed after a judge found him in contempt for failure to make court-ordered payments in a support case.
