PORT BARRE, La. (NEWS 15) — A person who was barricaded inside a home is now in custody after a standoff in Port Barre, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Bobby Guidroz confirmed the SWAT team worked with Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries to take the suspected shooter into custody. The person’s name was not released.
