The Christian faithful in Acadiana observed Good Friday by attending church services. Roman Catholics marked the day by praying the Stations of the Cross. On the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus and at neighboring Girard Park, the university’s Catholic community participated in the traditional Living Stations of the Cross in observance of Christ’s crucifixion.
