Suspect accused of 2024 stabbing in Lafayette arrested for attempted murder

LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A man accused of stabbing someone multiple times in Lafayette nearly two years ago has been transferred from Texas and is now behind bars in the Hub City.

Ernest White, 38, was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a charge of attempted second-degree murder. His bond is set at $150,000.
