1,000 tapentadol tablets seized in Opelousas drug probe

ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA. (KLFY) — A narcotics investigation leads to the seizure of 1,000 tablets and two arrests, deputies said.

Jasmine Lee Bellow, 33, and Reginald Ladarious Drawsand, 31, both of Opelousas were were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute Tapentadol. Drawsand also faces the charge of possession with intent to distribute Promethazine with Codeine, deputies said.

A search was conducted at the residence of 164 Fontenot Road in Opelousas on April 18. The investigation resulted in the seizure of 1,000 tablets of Tapentadol and the arrest of Jasmine Bellow, who was alleged to have received the package. One other adult female was detained outside the residence, but was determined to have no involvement in the transaction and was released, deputies said…
