LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — State and local prosecutors now have copies of the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s report on the Lafayette Parish School System. News 15 has learned the report outlines issues with capital projects, public bid law, and maintaining financial records.
The auditor’s office said the report has been forwarded to the state attorney general’s office and the 15th Judicial District Attorney. LPSS now has about three weeks to answer the 77 findings in the report…
