LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Tornado Watch is in effect for a couple of Acadiana parishes as a cold front moves through the region, bringing the threat of severe storms and localized flooding.
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center issued the Tornado Watch shortly after 2 p.m., and it includes Evangeline and St. Landry parishes.
