A 9-year-old Lafayette Parish student has launched a new quarterly kids newspaper designed to give children a voice through stories, artwork and creative expression.
Audrey Dupre is the founder of Lafayette Kid News, a free print publication featuring stories, artwork and activities created entirely by kids. The newspaper aims to give children a voice, connect them with one another and encourage creativity while promoting reading and writing skills.
