Crowley community center receives life-saving AEDs from Acadian Ambulance

CROWLEY, La. (NEWS 15) — Acadian Ambulance donated automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to the MLK Center in Crowley, providing critical life-saving equipment that can significantly increase survival rates during cardiac emergencies.

The AEDs are essential when moments count in an emergency, as use of the devices raises the chance of survival if a person goes into sudden cardiac arrest.

“By donating the AED device, we are going to be able to offer immediate help to those in cardiac arrest, whether it be a child or an adult. So, it does help us save lives quicker,” Abby Benoit with Acadian Ambulance said…
