WAMPSVILLE, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Madison County District Attorney Robert Mascari has announced charges against the man who shot one person on the SUNY Morrisville campus in November, locking it down for several hours.
State Police — along with SUNY Morrisville Police and Madison County Sheriffs — were called to the South Hall of the SUNY Morrisville campus on Monday, November 3, 2025. Upon their arrival, they found one person with a gunshot wound to their neck. The campus was locked down for several hours during the initial investigation. The victim — who was not a student at SUNY Morrisville — was transported to Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse for emergency surgery and treatment.
