Tegus in town: Dundee mayor shares warning about presence of nonnative lizard species

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Argentine Black and White Tegus, a nonnative species known to gobble up native wildlife, have been spotted in the small Polk County town of Dundee.

One was seen strolling down 7th Street.
