PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Boaters heading out on Tampa Bay for the Fourth of July weekend can expect to see plenty of FWC officers on the water.
With one of the busiest boating weekends of the year underway, FWC has increased patrols through Sunday as thousands of people take to the water for the holiday. This year, officers expect even heavier boat traffic as America’s 250th anniversary celebration creates a four-day holiday weekend.
