4 hospitalized in three-vehicle crash with Polk County ambulance

POINCIANA, Fla. (WFLA) — Four people were hospitalized after a Polk County ambulance was involved in a crash in Poinciana Saturday morning, officials said.

A Polk County Fire Rescue ambulance, with its lights and sirens on, was responding to a call at around 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 12.

While traveling through the intersection at Bayberry Street and Marigold Avenue, the ambulance was involved in what appeared to be a head-on crash with a large dump truck.
