LAKE WALES, Fla. — Two people were killed early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on State Road 60 west of Lake Wales, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency units were dispatched to the scene at State Road 60 and Acuff Road around 4:22 a.m. Deputies confirmed that two people died at the scene. Initial reports from investigators indicate two vehicles were involved in the collision.
