WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Three people are in the hospital after a car veered off the road and plowed into an abandoned building early Saturday morning along U.S. 17, local authorities said.
Emergency crews from both the Winter Haven Police Department and the Winter Haven Fire Department rushed to the scene near Fifth Street Southwest shortly before 2:30 a.m.
