The Florida Department of Transportation plans detours on State Road 33 at Interstate 4 in Polk County starting Oct. 9 as part of the interchange improvements and wildlife crossing project.
Beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, crews will close and detour northbound and southbound SR 33 to safely perform bridge demolition activities, FDOT said. The closure will continue through 6 a.m. on Oct. 12.
