Polk voters will consider tax to increase pay for school staff

A property tax measure will be on the minds of many Floridians as they cast ballots in the midterm elections.

While Amendment 3 gives Floridians the option of boosting homestead exemptions and thus reducing taxes, voters in Polk County will face a separate tax decision.
