LAKELAND, Fla. – A 40-year-old Lakeland woman wanted on several theft-related charges was taken into custody Wednesday night after a deputy spotted her walking along a neighborhood street, authorities said.
A Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested Robin Lindsey Sears around 10 p.m. on September 30. Sears had an active county warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of grand theft, fraudulent use of personal identification, possession of a stolen credit or debit card, and petit theft.
According to sheriff’s office reports, a deputy first went to a home on Homestead Drive in Lakeland looking for Sears. When she was not there, the deputy drove toward a second possible location…
