Davenport Woman Jailed After Stolen Pumpkin Cushions Found On Her Golf Cart

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 69-year-old Davenport woman was arrested Monday after home security footage captured her stealing seasonal porch cushions from a neighbor down the street, authorities said.

Christine Ruth Freeman was booked into the Polk County Sheriff’s Processing Center on October 5, facing charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor petit theft.

The incident began around 8 p.m. on October 4, when a resident’s doorbell security camera recorded a woman walking onto the front porch of a Davenport home. The woman picked up two pumpkin-shaped decorative cushions valued at $60, carried them off the property, and drove away in a golf cart…
