Publix Super Markets is moving forward with a major expansion of its distribution operations in Lakeland, with plans to add nearly 467,000 square feet of warehouse and processing space near the Polk Parkway.
Lakeland officials approved an updated site plan for the project on October 27, clearing another hurdle for the grocery chain’s expansion along County Line Road and Allen K. Breed Highway.
