On Monday, Jan. 23, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an accidental shooting at a residence on Stone Lane north of Mena. Upon arrival at the residence, deputies discovered Monica Quillin, age 42, of Mena, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
