Cieha Annette Taylor’s disappearance in Plant City, Florida, remains an unsolved enigma that has baffled local authorities and the community. The 28-year-old vanished under mysterious circumstances on February 6, 2020, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and a family desperate for answers.
Born on November 16, 1991, Cieha struggled with drug addiction in the past but was on a path to recovery. On the day of her disappearance, she dropped her boyfriend off at his home and was supposedly heading to meet a friend in Lakeland. However, she never reached her destination. At 7:00 pm, her car was found abandoned on a railroad track in Plant City, a mile from her boyfriend’s house. The car, with the engine running and driver’s door open, was moved off the tracks by a police officer who did not run the plates or notify the owner.
The investigation revealed that Taylor’s phone, keys, and wallet were left in her car. Her boyfriend and others who last saw her were questioned, but no solid leads emerged. Weeks of extensive searching in the vicinity of the railroad tracks turned up nothing, until February 26, when Taylor’s shoes were found near the road, sparking theories of foul play.
