Looking forward to the 2024 Florida Strawberry Festival?
Publix Super Markets is selling discounted tickets in stores throughout West Central Florida through March 1, according to a news release from the festival. The discounted sales began Thursday.
Advance discounted admission tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children 6-12 years old. Children 5 younger are admitted free with a paying adult. Regular admission at the gate is $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12.
The festival runs from Feb. 29 to March 10 at the festival grounds in Plant City.
The Strawberry Festival said in a news release that more than 250 Publix stores in Charlotte, DeSoto, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lake, Manatee, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota and Sumter counties will participate in selling admission tickets as well as promoting the festival to their customers. It offered a list of participating stores at www.flstrawberryfestival.com. The list appeared to cover the vast majority, if not all, stores in those counties.
