TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) —Authorities have responded to a crash that left a semi-truck hanging over the side of an overpass on the Polk Parkway in Auburndale.
The incident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. on Polk Parkway East at Old Dixie Highway. It appears authorities have shut down all lanes of Polk Parkway East in the area where the crash occurred.

The driver of the semi-truck lost control of the truck and took out about 300 feet of guiderail, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver was not injured.
