A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office helicopter made an emergency landing in a field off County Road 39 in Plant City on May 1. HCSO said the aircraft was headed back to the David Gee Aviation Complex about 4:04 p.m. when the two pilots reported the emergency landing. No information was available as to the cause.
