A Davenport woman was arrested for retail theft this week after a Walmart employee noticed she stole merchandise through self-checkout seven times. A loss prevention officer caught 41-year-old Bernnadette Martinez Diaz failing to scan items on seven different occasions while using the self-checkout register at Walmart, located at 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
