62 People Arrested In Lakeland “Operation Rooske, A Family Affair” Fentanyl Ring

POLK COUNTY Fla. – Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd will discuss the results of a multi-agency fentanyl drug trafficking investigation at a news conference on Friday.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution, Ashley Moody, Attorney General, coordinated the investigation and dismantling of a Lakeland-based fentanyl drug trafficking organization (DTO).

“Operation Rooske, A Family Affair,” resulted in the arrest of 62 people, multiple search warrants, the shutdown of 2 businesses that were being used to launder drug proceeds, the seizure of multiple weapons, drugs, and DTO assets, and multiple racketeering charges on the principal DTO leadership, according to PCSO.
