WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Winter Haven Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a residence on Ave. F SE this afternoon.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:20 p.m. following reports of a gunshot victim inside a residence.
Upon arrival, they secured the area and aided the victim until emergency medical services arrived.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is currently unknown.
Authorities have confirmed there is no threat to the public at this time.
