LAKELAND, Fla. – One driver is dead following a head-on collision between a sedan and pickup truck on Saturday night. Lakeland Police said the 50-year-old driver of the sedan, Maurice Knight, was driving southbound just before 9 p.m. on State Road 33 in a silver Toyota sedan when he hit a curb. The car entered the center median, crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a black Toyota pickup truck.
