Hillsborough County, FL – A tractor-trailer crash on I-75 in Hillsborough County has caused significant delays for motorists this morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

At approximately 8:58 AM, a tractor-trailer driven by a 45-year-old man from Ruskin was traveling southbound on I-75, just north of State Road 60. The driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, causing the vehicle to rotate and jackknife. The truck entered the center median, where it collided with a guardrail.

Although the driver was unharmed, the crash resulted in a fuel leak from the tractor-trailer. As a result, several travel lanes are blocked, and motorists should anticipate delays in the area until the scene is cleared.

Authorities are working to manage traffic and ensure the safe cleanup of the fuel spill. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes or prepare for extended travel times.
