Vera Mae Gundy Hardee, age 90, of Pierce, FL, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland, FL. She was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church-Pierce. Throughout her years of faithful service at St. Paul, she served over 40 years as Mission President for St. Paul M.B. Church and Congress Number 5 under the First South District Association of Florida. She was previously, the elected Second Vice President of Senior Mission for the First South Florida Missionary Baptist District Association. She served on the Foreign Mission Board at Progressive M. E. State Convention, and was coordinator for education for the Florida State National Baptist Convention of America International Inc. She was active on numerous boards within the state organizations.
