LAKELAND, Fla. – A 58-year-old driver from Lakeland was killed after crashing into the rear of a semi-truck on Highway 98 North in Polk County. The crash happened Friday around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Old Soldier Road and Highway 98 North in Lakeland, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
