Maggiano’s Little Italy updating menu with premium ingredients

TAMPA BAY, Fla. (BLOOM) – Maggiano’s Little Italy is undergoing a transformation, reimagining its signature dishes with high-quality ingredients and refined techniques. Under the leadership of award-winning Chef Anthony Amoroso and a team of executive chefs, the restaurant chain is introducing a menu that blends nostalgia with luxury, offering a gourmet take on beloved Italian-American staples.

“This isn’t just an upgrade – it’s a transformation,” said Amoroso, Vice President of Innovation and Growth at Maggiano’s. “We’ve taken the most beloved Italian-American dishes and refined every detail, from hand-breading a juicier, more flavorful Chicken Parmesan to enriching our Alfredo Sauce with the depth of imported Pecorino Romano and aged Parmesan.”

The New Dishes

The revamped menu spotlights an array of classic dishes, each crafted with premium ingredients typically found in fine dining establishments:

  • “The Grand” Chicken Parmesan – A reinvention of the classic, this dish features a hand-breaded chicken breast topped with fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil, and freshly grated Parmesan, served with Maggiano’s signature Rigatoni Marinara.
  • Wagyu Beef Meatballs – A refined take on a traditional favorite, these meatballs are made in-house daily with a 50-50 blend of Snake River Farms Wagyu and high-quality ground beef, ensuring an unmatched depth of flavor and tenderness.
  • Wagyu Beef Stuffed Shells – A luxurious twist on a long-awaited classic, featuring pasta shells filled with a rich blend of Wagyu beef and ricotta, topped with a bold, spicy tomato cream sauce, freshly grated Parmesan, and whipped ricotta.
  • Lasagna – A towering 30-layer masterpiece of fresh pasta, house-made Bolognese, and creamy ricotta, designed to offer a refined take on the traditional dish.
  • “The Finest” Fettuccine Alfredo – A luxurious version of the comfort classic, featuring a creamy Alfredo sauce enhanced with Pecorino Romano, aged Parmesan, roasted garlic, and fresh rosemary. Available with Maggiano’s Parmesan-Crusted Chicken or Jumbo Shrimp.
