HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A five-vehicle chain-reaction crash on I-75 Monday morning resulted in serious injuries to one driver and the closure of portions of the interstate.
According to the FHP report, the crash occurred at approximately 11:26 AM. Five vehicles were traveling northbound on I-75, south of the 262-milepost.
The FHP stated that a tractor-trailer failed to slow down or stop for four vehicles that were either slowed or stopped in traffic. The tractor-trailer collided with the rear of a Nissan Maxima, which then caused a chain reaction involving the other vehicles…
