A Florida middle school principal has been placed on disciplinary leave after he was caught using a friend’s shoplifting hack at a local Walmart.
Gregory Lewis, the principal at Bok Academy North in Polk County, which is about 54 miles south of Orlando, was allegedly caught stealing $37.45 worth of goods from the White Haven store on Saturday morning.
He admitted to the crime during his arrest, the cops said, stating that he wanted to try out the shoplifting trick his friend taught him to see if it worked.
“We sit around talking, ‘Hey, I did this.’ Let me try and see what I can get away with,” the principal told cops in the arrest footage. “I did something dumb today, and I understand it.”…
