LAKELAND, Fla. – A shooting outside the Cali Rose 15 Kitchen (formerly Rush Hour Bar & Grill) on Ariana Street late Thursday night left one man dead and another injured, according to the Lakeland Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 1323 Ariana Street at approximately 9:31 p.m. on April 24, 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals, identified as Jesse Banks, 28, of Lakeland, and Nicholas Lue, 26, of West Palm Beach, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both men were immediately transported to Lakeland Regional Health for medical treatment. Tragically, despite the efforts of medical staff, Jesse Banks was pronounced deceased. Nicholas Lue was stabilized and remains hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening…
