POLK COUNTY, Fla. – As Duke Energy nears the completion of a new transmission line in Polk County, there will be some traffic impacts this weekend as helicopter work continues to install equipment along the line.
The transmission line will “strengthen the electric grid and improve reliability” in the county, according to a release. The line is between the Osprey and Kathleen substations in Polk County.
