Lake Wales Woman Arrested After Violating Pre-Trial Release, Fleeing Polk Deputies

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Lake Wales woman is back in custody after allegedly violating the conditions of her pre-trial release and attempting to evade deputies who arrived to serve a warrant, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO). Denise Marie Lansdon, 48, was arrested on Thursday, May 22nd, at her residence.

The events leading to Lansdon’s latest arrest began on March 7th, when PCSO deputies responded to a physical disturbance call in Lake Wales. According to the arrest affidavit from that incident, Lansdon was involved in an altercation with an acquaintance.

The situation reportedly escalated from a verbal argument to a physical assault, during which Lansdon allegedly pushed the victim, pulled their hair, and delivered punches to the head. It is also alleged that Lansdon made death threats and forcibly removed four necklaces from the victim’s neck…
