Lakeland natives launch refillable, reef-safe sunscreen

LAKELAND, Fla. (BLOOM) – A pair of Lakeland natives are turning up the heat on the sun care industry with the launch of Good Sun, a Florida-manufactured, refillable sunscreen designed to protect both skin and the environment.

With summer approaching and Floridians heading outdoors in full force, the new brand arrives at a pivotal time—promising a cleaner, more sustainable alternative to traditional sunscreens.

Frustrated by messy, wasteful, and environmentally harmful sunscreen options, the founders, who grew up in Lakeland, set out to create a better solution. Their answer: a reef-conscious, gluten-free formula housed in a sleek, reusable spray bottle.
